My opinion

'With speculative design, people can make a possible narrative in the future and apply it to design.'

In my opinion, the speculative design is necessary to designers and especially government. For example, there is Nuclear waste. nuclear waste is generated from Nuclear power plant and very hard to remove. It actually takes thousands of years.

For now, it has no serious impact on human society, but it will become the most difficult topic to deal with it in the future. I think speculative design has power on this kind of thing because the designers, scientists and government are available to get ready for it and create an effective method.
